Our Story

EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY IS OUR WAY OF LIFE

In 2011 we began our dream journey to specialize in snow ice desserts. Our passion for great taste and innovative desserts are crafted to spark your taste buds and fulfill your sweet tooth cravings. Today we redefine desserts with more organic elements and use of natural fruits. We use no mystery powder or artificial food flavorings. We also have a selection of savory items to compliment and complete your visit. Our food uses local, fresh meat and never contains processed canned, frozen or dehydrated ingredients.

ABOUT US

Known for our icy treats we are pioneers for the hand-rolled ice-cream dessert in the SF Bay Area region. We were voted Best of the East Bay for our Taiwanese Shaved Ice by Diablo Magazine in 2011 when we first opened. It was a big hit and has always been a part of us, even till this day. This unique style dessert is a cross between your traditional ice cream and the shaved ice desserts popular in Hawaii and Asia. They feature soft ribbons of flavored ice topped with fruit, nuts and other assorted toppings.

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

From Taiwanese Snow to Korean Bingsoo, our desserts take influence from different parts of Asia with a fusion of an Americanized touch for the local comfort. We put our spin on things, and our selection has far fewer calories with a higher taste factor. Like the actual snowflake, it’s the little details that make us unique. We strive to make each customer experience as family oriented as possible, for there’s nothing more important than spending time with your loved ones at a fantastic place for new memories.

THE HISTORY
BEHIND OUR BRAND

2011

Snowflake opened its’ first location in Dublin, California and was voted Best of the East Bay for our Tawainese Shaved Ice Dessert. We started out at the Ufert Mall serving the growing communities in the suburbs of Contra Costa and Alameda County.

2018

In 2018, we completed our second generational upgrade for more complete modernization and aesthetics. Our menu items were also re-evaluated and improved. Our new and improved flagship store in Pleasanton, CA was opened in the newly developed Pacific Pearl Plaza (adjacent to the Livermore Outlets).

2015

In 2015, we did our first generational upgrade in which we started strengthening and expanding our brand for more locations and for more variety of food and drink offerings. We added hand-rolled ice cream to our menu and it was another pioneered success.

2019

Today, we are expanding our brand significantly with improvements that will only further enhance the experience for our customers. We are focused in giving back to the local communities this year and in doing so, we have some great fundraising and event catering opportunities in the works.
